Dr. Ashok Vaid

Dr. Ashok Vaid. The director of the Cancer Institute at Medanta Medicity is the author of many publications, scientific papers and theses.

He is actively involved in organizing various seminars, workshops and conferences throughout the country. Dr. Vaid also conducted over 40 international and national cancer studies.

Dr. Vaid has become known for his innovative methods in the field of bone marrow transplantation. The first 25 bone marrow transplants in India were successfully performed by Dr. Waïd. He is the winner of the Padma Sriana highest presidential award in the field of medicine.
